Halloween was a exciting time for Noah. He was looking forward to being a fire fighter for at least 2 months. Noah went to the Anoka Parade and hung out with one of his (many) girlfriends Jordan. Noah so impressed the fireman at the parade that one of them gave him the shirt off his back.....a t shirt to celebrate the Halloween capital of the world.....Anoka, Minnesota!!!!

My Gal "Friday"
Fall fun #1
What a beautiful state we live in! Fall up here is a time to be celebrated. Farms are in full swing and Noah gets a chance to visit them. He enjoys the animals he sees: Llamas, cows sheep pigs. all of them. he loves to get out and go to a Farm. That gene in him is firmly attached. he is a reflection of some of his celebration of the fall farm.
Fall Fun #2
What a wonderful fall we had despite the cold and wet temperatures; Noah was able to get out and enjoy the best of it. Noah played in the yard with a big pile of leaves that seems to get bigger every year. He went to a variety of local farms that "open" up this time a year to celebrate the fall harvest. He played outside for long hours when ever the weather let him.

Daddy got a deer

Noah has been casually interested in Daddy's Deer Hunting. Noah has wished Daddy Luck when he went hunting and let Daddy know his preference as to the fact that Noah wants daddy only to shoot deer with antlers. "Daddy I don't want you to shoot any Mommy deer" is something that he often states.
So Daddy brought home a deer from a successful archery hunt. Noah was very interested in the whole process of skinning the deer, butchering and processing. Noah watched the whole process asking questions as only a 4 year old can. When we were done Noah asked where the seer was. Daddy took Noah to the Freezer. Oh he said "Now he is our dinner!" he has been asking for venison for dinner for a few days now.

Wind Storm on the North Shore.

A wild Wind storm Hit the Cabin with sustained winds of 66 mph for 14 hours. The local area was quite damaged and many old and tall trees were lost. The cabin was hit hard. This provided an adventure for Noah with heavy equipment and power company trucks to watch. Daddy worked hard but was able to clean up the cabin some.

The Nowthen Threshing Show
The Nowthen threshing show is one of Noah's favorite place to see! It is a conglomeration of old time county fair, flea market, tractor show and pioneer days. What a great show. Noah gets to taste the flavors of oldtyme lemonade and Kettle Korn, Roasted corn on the cob or a corn dog.
He can hear the sounds of the steam engines, johnny poppers, tractors, and diesel engines
Smell the wood/coal burning tractors as well as the diesel and gas powered tractors as wells whiffs of "fair food"
Today he was here for 6 hours!...we went home for a nap after being fully stimulated and then back for the tractor pull.
Enjoy the photos
