This is the world of Noah. We hope to share glimpses of our precious little boy with our family and friends, near and far. He brings such joy to our lives, we hope it's contagious!
Noah's Uncle Mike came into to town for a quick visit. Noah got to show him his teeth and his tricks with the exersaucer. Uncle Mike say "Hi" to Spencer and Sarah for us!
Noah's best friend came over for a visit. It was late they had spent the day all day at a play group and it was time for a nap but they agreed to pose for a picture.
Noah started his modeling career today getting some "Head Shots" or should we say head and cheeks shots. Photographer Michael B came to the house to take pictures of Noah before he looses all his baby looks. Noah a really good time working for the photographer. To see Michael B's work on the web check out http://www.michaelbkids.com/ We will update everyone when the pictures are ready to be viewed and ordered.
The Steven Scherger Family had a romantic evening at the Como Conservatory on Valentines day. The Conservatory is a very large "greenhouse" with a fern room, a bonsai room, spice room and a tropical room. It was lit by candle light on Valentines day for guests to stroll through and enjoy themselves. It was nice to feel tropical humidity and see green plants as we listened to a baroque trio. Thanks mommy for a nice evening. We love you!!! (Noah and Steven)
Noah participated in his first medical study in conjunction with the University of Minnesota and Harvard. Researchers are studying the neural basis of deferred imitation in infancy. They are studying the ability of infants to remember and imitate actions after a delay. As you can see Noah had a great time participating in the study. Although it was his first time wearing an EEG apparatus he seemed quite pleased with participating in the study.
Noah had a well check up today. He had a great time at the doctors up until the shots of course. He discovered that he loves the paper on the examination table. He giggled and played with it until the doctor came. His 6 month stats:
Noah went sledding for the first time on Saturday. The whole family got into pulling Noah around on the sleigh, even the Chesapeake bay retriever/sled dog Cayenne. As you can see Noah was not quite sure that he was having a good time, but at least he was a good sport about it. Next week Noah may to try the luge.
Noah likes to stand. He likes to stand with you holding him by you, on your tummy, knees, or where and whenever. He likes to stand with support in his exersaucer and with his music table.
Noah has the tummy flu, and decided to make it a family event by sharing it with Steven and I. We will NOT be including a picture of us. Steven and Noah were hit the hardest. I'm feeling significantly better after 24 hours. Steven is just now getting out of bed after the same amount of time. Noah has stopped vomiting, but is still losing things out the other end like crazy after 48 hours. We are working hard at keeping him hydrated. Thanks to "Storm" Grandma Harrold for helping us out yet again. We always seem to need her during/after a major rain/snow storm. Thanks also for the rest of the family support.
